everyone goes through extremely tough shit.
Every. Waking. Day.
What matters is what you learn from it, your overall attitude, and the select few that are willing to go through it by your side…even if that only means you don’t feel so alone.
On that wise and somber note….My birthday left a lot to be desired. 90% of it sucked, actually. Lol such is life. Such is life.
Today will be better.
In less than one year, I have gotten married, moved (going on) 3 times, bought a house, and grew up and learned more about myself than I have in the 18 years before this one.
99% sure I will be beginning my Diagnostic Imaging program at my Aunt Sheila’s hospital, St. Francis, this August. In less than 3 years I will be a Radiation Therapist. I’ll have my career going at last. And be...

Making brownies at nearly midnight because you want something sweet, then not wanting to walk downstairs to get the mixing bowl and, instead, using a pitcher that is, of course, too long and narrow to get the mixer inside, in which case you end up spending 10 minutes hand mixing it.

today feels good.
Got up at a decent hour, did my little morning workout, made the best coffee smoothie, then cranked out two computer units and a big exam for biomedical terminology (aceddd). THEN picked up the kids, went to the grocery store, did another Computer unit along with a review packet for biomed term, got dinner in the oven, and BEST OF ALL, I’m high as balls.
